PARAGLIDING WORLD CUP 2024 INDIA IS GOING TO BE ORGANISED BY THE BILLING PARAGLIDING ASSOCIATION WITH THE COLLABORATION OF HP GOVT AND HP TOURSIM DEPARTMENT.
WHICH IS HAPPENING IN THE LAP OF THE DHAULADHAR RANGE AT BIR BILLING.

1. Registration Day 8 AM. Kindly Bring Your Orignal Documents With 4 Photographs.
Passport & Visa.
Valid Insurance.
Flying Licence.
2. Followed By Safety Briefing And Overall Briefing With Opening Ceremony.
3. 3 November 2024: Ist Competition Day.
4. 8.30 AM Transportation To Take Off Followed By Breakfast.
5. 9.30 AM Safety and General Briefing.
6.10 AM Task Starts.
7. Report Back Time 5 pm.
8. Provisional Result Timing 6.30 PM.
9. 8.30 PM Result.
10. The Same Process Is Followed During Upcoming Competiton Days.
11. 09 November 2024 Closing Ceremony 3:30 PM (IST)

Bir
The paragliding site at Bir-Billing in Kangra district near Baijnath is considered one of the best paragliding sites in the world. Billing which is 2290 meters high, is the take-off site and Bir at around 1400 meters is the village at the landing site. The road distance between the two is 14 km.
Billing
The flights from Billing to Bir crossed through beautiful mountains facing a lush green valley and highway connecting Mandi with Dharmshala. The most important thing about this region is its weather and this is one of the main reasons that I dream of a house in Palampur which is quite near to this place. Usually during normal weather pilots fly around 100 kilometers.
