Pre-world Cup Accuracy Paragliding Championship 2023

Pilots from India and abroad participate. This is a big occasion for Paragliding pilots of India after the Lockdown. Bir Billing also hosted the Paragliding World Cup in 2023 as well, but this time pre-world Cup competition.

Accuracy Championship is all about spot landing. Pilots fly one by one from the Billing Paragliding Launch site and land at the Chougan Landing site at a given spot. There are three circles and a black spot in the Middle, all circles increase area, and pilots have to land in circles to get points. Each pilot gets some point as per their accuracy from the middle point, the pilot lands in the center black spot maximum point and others are given points after measuring the distance from the center. Each pilot has three chances to attain points. The pilot who attained the maximum points won the competition.

There are male and female categories overall. Pre-world organized by Billing Paragliding Association with the collaboration of Himachal Tourism. Association also committed to organizing the Paragliding world cup in Oct 2023.
