Paragliding World Cup 2015, Bir-Billing, Himachal Pradesh
The Paragliding World Cup (or PWC for short) is a cross-country flying competition for paraglider pilots, organized by the Paragliding World Cup Association (PWCA), based in Marlens, France. Each year, the Paragliding World Cup Tour visits 5-6 different locations worldwide. At each event, several tasks are flown to establish the overall classification.
The event was sponsored by the Airports Authority of India, which has taken it upon itself to promote and push Adventure Sports in India along with a host of other sponsors who came forward with their wholehearted support for this unique event.

The week-long intense competition at the AAI Paragliding World Cup saw Swiss pilot Michael Kuffer emerge as the winner in the men’s category, while the women’s overall crown was claimed by Japan’s Yuki Sato.
